The Collins & Huff Upholstery line is rooted in a story of partnership, craftsmanship, and family. In 1970, Chandler’s father, Jack Collins, and Arden’s uncle, Bill Huff, joined forces with a small group of furniture makers in North Carolina who shared their dedication to quality and timeless design. Together, they created beautifully made pieces built with care, intention, and lasting materials.
Today, that same spirit continues. Arden and Chandler proudly work with the very same family of makers, carrying forward a tradition that bridges generations of designers and craftsmen. What began as a partnership between friends and family has grown into a lasting legacy—where thoughtful design meets heirloom-quality furniture, made by hands that have been perfecting their craft for generations.

Chandler Collins grew up surrounded by the world of Collins & Huff. As the daughter of Jack Collins, she spent her childhood watching her father’s work unfold—learning the importance of thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and the relationships that built the foundation of the company. What began as early exposure soon became a lasting appreciation for the legacy her family had created.
After leaving home to attend Sewanee: The University of the South, Chandler’s path took her far beyond the South, living and working in places as far away as Calgary, Canada. Those experiences broadened her perspective while deepening her appreciation for the traditions she grew up with.
Today, Chandler has returned home with her husband, Julian, bringing with her both new experiences and a deep respect for the legacy that came before her. Together with Arden and the Collins & Huff team, she is proud to continue the family tradition—working with the same trusted makers and carrying forward a story that has always been rooted in design, craftsmanship, and family.

Arden Huff’s connection to Collins & Huff began long before it became her career. As the niece of Bill Huff, she grew up around the business and spent many years working within Collins & Huff, gaining firsthand experience in the design process and the craftsmanship that defines the company. Those early years shaped her understanding of furniture, interiors, and the lasting relationships that have always been central to the Collins & Huff story.
Arden later went on to establish her own successful interior design business, where she continues to bring her timeless perspective and deep industry knowledge to every project. Today, she works alongside Chandler, continuing the legacy started by their family while collaborating with the same trusted makers who have been part of the Collins & Huff story for generations.
Family remains at the center of Arden’s life. She lives in Columbus with her husband and stays happily busy with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren who are often close by—bringing the same warmth, energy, and sense of home to her work that she values in her own family.
